In order to protect your photograph it is vital that the print is correctly framed. Prints should never be glued directly onto backing board. Correctly framed, the prints should be lightly taped to the reverse side of the mounting board. Mounting board must be 100% acid free and 2mm clear glass should be used. It is vital that the frame is sealed properly in order to keep out moisture, dust or insects. Too achieve a clean uncomplicated look it is recommended that white mount board is used within a simple black or white frame. The weight of the outer frame is adjusted according to the size of the print. Once framed, the frame should be displayed out of direct sunlight. Ideally a small spotlight trained directed on the artwork will help emphasis it on the wall.
